A thought at Christmas

As the year draws to a close, take a moment to think about your life this year:

  • What are you grateful for? What are you proud of?

  • Is there anything that didn’t go your way? How would you change it for next year?

  • What are your hopes and dreams for the future?

  • Is there anything holding you back that you need to let go of?

There are no right or wrong answers, no way it should be. It’s all about taking stock of your life, assessing how you feel about it, and using that knowledge to make decisions that will have a positive effect.

Consider writing it all down. You don’t have to keep it, it could just be a cathartic exercise to get the thoughts out of your head and onto a piece of paper that you then throw away. Or you could keep hold of it and look at how much has changed by this time next year. But it can be very therapeutic to see it in black and white, and can help you solidify your thoughts into something tangible.

Have a very Merry Christmas, and high hopes for the new year.
